You can get involved in various ways
HeartWork is constantly on the look-out for willing professionals who can present a topic to the offenders. Even though we aim to use ex-offenders for some topics due to their personal experience, which is always a valuable input, we always appreciate active community members to add to the level of insight on the topics available.
At the end of each course, we offer the course participants that have met the requirements of our course to graduate. The graduation includes family members of the offenders to join in a day of sharing and reflection. We always welcome any industry to aid in providing us with catering for this occasion and sanitary items which we give as a token to the participants once they have graduated.
Lastly, we would not be able to offer this program in its entirety without continuous financial support from Corporate Social Investments (CSI) and Personal Donations.
We therefore invite you to join a graduation if you are curious to see what we offer and what the value is that we, together with the Social Work Department of the Correctional Facility, add to the overall rehabilitation of offenders. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you feel that you and your business could add value for a rehabilitation programme that is aimed to dissuade current offenders to re-offend.HeartWork is
